Move over VH1

As it has been reported, several teams including the St. Louis Rams and Cincinnati Bengals are now interested in acquiring the reality TV-star (Sorry, I meant to say free agent wide-receiver), Terrell Owens. The truth of the matter is that any team that wants him can get him! With training camp in session now, T.O. has very few places to choose from entering his 15th season. With that being said he shouldn’t have too many demands within any contract that is given to him as it would be a blessing just to receive an offer.
Some teams still look at T.O. as a game-break type player that can be put on the gridiron during any situation and still make a play, while others could just use him to sell more tickets and receive the media attention. Owens may want to receive a ring and play for a playoff contender this upcoming 2010-2011 NFL season, but his off-field shenanigans impede this reality from happening. Looking at T.O.'s stats and his accomplishments through 14 seasons would make him a great asset to any team, but the truth is that most teams don’t need the negative media light. Teams are focusing on holding the Lombardi trophy in Dallas this year, not on someone complaining about getting enough catches.
One thing is for sure, if T.O. is able to get signed, he needs to make sure that his play and performance are superb on the field and his mouth is quiet off-field or this may be the last of the NFL Drama Queen.
