1.  New Orleans Saints receiver Maruqes Colston suffered a broken right collarbone in the season opener against the Green Bay Packers. Colston will be out for a month.

2. Down two sets, Novak Djokovic still managed to rally from behind to beat Roger Federer to reach the US Open final.


3. Kyle Busch captured his eighth Nascar Nationwide Series race of the season this past Friday. Busch's victory was his 51st in the series, the most in history.
